Mothers and their kids in the popular photo project "The Atlas of Beauty"

Sheila Lester 3 months ago

Since 2013 Romanian photographer Mihaela Noroc has been traveling around the world photographing women for her long-running project "The Atlas of Beauty". Having visited more than 50 countries, Mihaela captures a huge number of portraits that emphasize the diversity of the beauty of women from all over the world.

Now, in anticipation of his first child, the photographer reflects on the mothers she met during her travels. And, as befits a photographer, Mihaela reflected her emotions with the help of photographs, photographing the portraits of women with their children. Her work demonstrates a deep connection and perfect affinity between mother and child. Each frame reflects warmth and care, leaving cultural and ethnic differences aside, because the maternal connection anywhere in the world looks the same.
